Teldat Atlas / Bintec RXL

Introduction Teldat – Enterprise branch routersRouter MPLS Teldat Atlas 360

For enterprise and corporate branches with throughput requirements above 100Mbps or for VPN / IPSec concentration environments, Teldat has developed the Atlas-x6x series: Atlas-60, Atlas-160, Atlas-260 andAtlas-360; and the bintec-RXL series: bintec RXL12100 and bintec RXL12500.

They simply differ in the method of management; the Atlas-x6x series relies on C.L.I. (Command Line Interface) which is typically used for carriers and integrators in service based scenarios, while the bintec-RXL series uses an intuitive web based configuration for easy management in conjunction with a variety of roll-out and maintenance mechanisms and software.Router bintec RXL12100

The Atlas-x6x series are modular routers which can be integrated in several scenarios and evolve thanks to their modularity. The bintec-RXL series on the other hand are fixed configuration routers with SFP as WAN access.

Teldat – Enterprise branch routers – Product Highlights

  • High throughput, supporting services 100 Mbps and above, especially for branches, for both current and future connectivity needs.
  • Modular design (Atlas series) to fit complex scenarios and future adaptability and scalability.
  • Embedded hardware encryption for wirespeed encrypted traffic saving additional security equipment.
  • Optional WLAN (Atlas series) and WWAN (Atlas-60) up to LTE (integrated and/or USB dongle) ideal for backup purposes.
  • Advanced software features in security, QoS or routing.

Teldat – Enterprise branch routers – Product description

The Atlas-x6x series are modular branch routers with 2×10/100/1000 ports, 2 to 5 slots and optional Wifi. The Atlas-60 also includes an 8 or 16 port switch and optionally WWAN, the Atlas-160 and Atlas-260 share the same hardware with 2 and 3 slots respectively, while the Atlas-360 includes SFP ports and an optional 16 port switch.

The bintec-RXL series comprises of two models; the bintec RXL12100 and the bintec RXL12500. Both have 2xSFP ports, an 8 port gigabit switch and ISDN-BRI. They are ideal as VPN concentrators thanks to their very high throughput and capabilities which operate in redundancy mode.

Teldat – Enterprise branch routers – Key Features

  • All-in-one router+switch+WiFi for seamless network integration.
  • Embedded switch by default in bintec-RXL series, and Atlas-60, optional in remaining models.
  • Dual Gigabit (RJ45/SFP depending on the model) for WAN redundancy (active-active or active-passive) or server/DMZ connectivity.
  • Optionally embedded WWAN hardware with dual-SIM up to LTE in the Atlas-60. Ideal as backup.
  • Optional WiFi802.11abgn2x2 @ 2.4/5 GHz in the Atlas series. MIMO and 5GHz technology to maximize data transmission rates.
  • Atlas-60: USB port to use with selected USB WWAN sticks.
  • Advanced software features (BGP, QoS, Firewall,…), to give answer to highly demanding professional scenarios.
  • Comprehensive IPSec stack with embedded hardware encryption for secure wirespeed traffic (Atlas series and RXL 12500).
  • Advanced QoS features enable high demanding multimedia traffic.
  • Comprehensive Telephony over IP server functionality, for telephony survival in cases of WAN outage. SIP, H323, SCCP (Skinny) and ALU-NOE protocols are supported.
  • Advanced management features, intuitive html in the bintec Series and text file configuration with Command Line Interface in the Teldat Series.

Atlas i60 Product descriptionRouter Atlas i60/i61 Cloud Edge

The Atlas i60  is the first Teldat router that also integrates an independent cloud application server. This embedded server runs the Linux operating system in one of the two CPU cores of the device, totally independently from the other core that runs the networking stack from Teldat (CIT). This guarantees that applications do not interfere with communications and vice versa.

It is a professional-grade modular enterprise branch office cloud access router specially designed to be deployed on remotely managed services of telecom operators or directly by the enterprises themselves.

The high performance and modularity plus its embedded cloud application server protect the branch office investment in a very demanding and dynamic cloud computing world, leaving room to cover future requirements.

As a router, it is designed to support 100 Mbps symmetric traffic in the toughest conditions of applied QoS, security and 64-byte packets. Its two gigabit ports, embedded switch and big modularity make it ideal for small to medium size branch offices, normally using the remotely managed services of a telecom operator.

Teldat Colibri NetManager

The Colibri NetManager (CNM) is an innovative flexible tool to centrally and globally manage Teldat devices. This solution is found in cloud mode or virtually in client head offices, allowing a device pool to be remotely managed through flexible licenses. This adapts perfectly to individual clients, SMEs and corporations with thousands of devices. The management suite is particularly exciting as technical personnel become redundant when deploying devices requiring management on client premises.
