Teldat H1-Auto / H1-Rail
Teldat has developed the H1-Automotive, H1-Automotive+, H2-Automotive and bintec RV routers to provide advanced services aboard vehicles, such as buses, trucks, ambulances, fire engines and police vehicles among others. These in-vehicle router services include management and monitoring of the vehicle, security, and benefits for the occupants. The in-vehicle routers are prepared to endure the rigorous conditions that operating aboard a moving vehicle demands.
The H1-Automotive in-vehicle router is designed for less demanding environments, while the H1-Automotive+ router supports higher speeds and offers more redundancy options. The bintec RV in-vehicle router shares its hardware with the H1-Automotive+ router, but includes a set of features more suited towards smaller & simpler deployments

The Teldat Automotive in-vehicle router series is made up of the H1-Automotive, H1-Automotive+ and bintec RV routers. The H1 Automotive and H1 Automotive+ provide the same advanced software stack, an integrated 4-port Ethernet switch, 802.11 WLAN, cellular WWAN connectivity and GPS.
The H1-Automotive+ additionally has 802.11n Wi-Fi (vs. 802.11g in H1 Automotive); LTE connectivity (vs. HSPA+); improved power management with ignition-based delayed power-off; support for 2 cellular modules; and a faster and more precise GPS module.
The RV in-vehicle router has the same hardware functionality as the H1 Automotive+, but with a simplified software stack integrated in a GUI interface, better suited for smaller deployments.
Teldat train router & access points – Product description
The Teldat Rail series is made up of the H1-Rail router and the bintec W2002T-n access point. Several H1 Rail routers may be deployed along the train to offer high speed redundant WAN connectivity to the train. This is achieved through the use of technologies such as 802.11n Wi-Fi or LTE cellular connections. Inside the wagons, each bintec W2002T-n has two radios to provide Wi-Fi access to passengers.
Each H1-Rail router also integrates a 4-port Ethernet switch, which can be used to connect other elements inside the train.
The H1-Rail contains a complete routing stack, including advanced VPN, redundancy and management facilities. The bintec W2002T-n has an easy to use interface that provides all needed features for end-user Internet access, including integration with a captive portal system.
