Teldat V / Teldat K
The Teldat-V is oriented to small offices with moderate connectivity requirements but with high reliability requisites and rich feature capacity. The Teldat-V gives answer to reliability through redundant access and capacity with Gigabit interfaces towards the internal network and a powerful switch complemented with hardware acceleration elements for data encryption boosts security without affecting speed.
The Teldat-V can be equipped with up to triple WAN connectivity: Ethernet, xDSL and 3G/4G. Any of these can be used as main line, alternative or simultaneously and consequently this device is eminently suitable in a wide range of connectivity configurations. It also features a four-port Gigabit switch and a WiFi-n access point feature.
The internal 3G/4G model provides the best possible connection management as it is compatible with all current mobile connectivity technologies up to 4G (LTE, HSPA+, HSPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS, GSM) and admits external antennas. Regarding software, the range of supported features matches that of higher cost routers, as these include Teldat’s state of the art support for security, quality of service, routing, management, diagnostic tools, etc.

The Teldat-K/KF routers offer corporations access to high speed networks whether they are fixed (FTTH) or mobile (LTE) and at the same time provide maximum quality, security and compatibility. Depending on the network access, these are divided into two models with the following characteristics
Teldat-KF: WAN Ethernet Connectivity
- 4 x Gigabit-Ethernet LAN Switch.
- Gigabit-Ethernet WAN Port.
Teldat-K: WWAN connectivity (3G, 3.5G, LTE) as the main access or as backup for the WAN Ethernet
- 4x Gigabit-Ethernet LAN Switch.
- Gigabit-Ethernet LAN Port (with PoE)
- Embedded WLAN IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n interface MIMO 2×2, with professional security (IEEE 802.11i)
Characteristics common to both models are:

- USB Host 2.0 port to connect 3G/4G external modems.
- Desktop format and ready for wall installation.
- Optional hardware encryption, optimizing transmission of encrypted traffic.
- External power supply (90-240Vac adaptor) or via Ethernet (PoE client integrated in 1xGigabit port).
- The absence of fans together with an innovative design mean they can be installed anywhere in the office.
Teldat – Compact Routers – Key Features
- Advanced software features (BGP, QoS, Firewall,…), as they shared the software stack with Teldat routers for large branches, to fit professional high demanding scenarios.
- Gigabit Ethernet switch included in all models to maximize intranet traffic.
- Dual WAN with fixed lines in some models (VDSL+Ethernet in Teldat-V and ADSL+ISDN in Bintec-RS353j), for active-passive or active-active redundancy, for backup or load balancing purposes.
- Optionally embedded WWAN hardware with dual-SIM offering more than DUAL WAN, in all models. Up to LTE in selected models; ideal as backup.
- USB port in all models except the Teldat-V, ready to use with selected USB WWAN sticks.
- WiFi: Up to 2 x 2 MIMO technology to maximize data transmission rates and 5 GHz band gives high performance notebooks a better throughput rate.
- Comprehensive IPSec stack with embedded hardware encryption for wirespreaed secure traffic.
- Without fans, 0 db noise, for installation anywhere at the office.
- Advanced QoS features enable high demanding multimedia traffic.
- Comprehensive Telephony over IP server functionality, for telephony survival in cases of WAN outage. SIP, H323, SCCP (Skinny) and ALU-NOE protocols supported.
- Advanced management features, intuitive html in the bintec Series and text file configuration with Command Line Interface in the Teldat Series.
