Introduction Regesta PRO ER Industrial Router

Teldat has developed the Regesta PRO ER family of industrial routers to enable high speed and reliable communications in industrial environments. The Regesta PRO ER is particularly well suited to support the Smart Grid networks that are quickly developing world-wide. These industrial Smart Grid routers support legacy SCADA protocols, while providing a convergence path towards advanced full IP routing over meshed VPNs.

The Regesta PRO ER product range offers industrial Smart Grid routers with different WAN and LAN ports, thereby catering to the many different scenarios that may arise in an industrial setup. The connectivity options offered include Ethernet, ADSL2+/VDSL2, cellular and serial interfaces.

Teldat Regesta PRO ER Industrial Router – Product description

The Regesta PRO ER family consists of industrialrouter models that contain different combinations of the following features: 6 x Ethernet ports, 3 x serial ports (both RS-232 and/or RS-485), 2 x internal cellular modules (supporting up to HSPA+), and one DSL (ADSL2+ & VDSL2) port. These can be powered with either standard AC current or alternatively using DC current, which is found in many industrial installations.

The Regesta PRO ER models present safe non-conducting material and additionally, they include physical protections against high voltages, which can be installed if required. These ruggedized routers are suitable for DIN rail installation as well as table-top operation.
